History & Introduction
Golfer’s everywhere, we are the prison service national golf association, and on the off chance that you have never heard of us, let me explain who we are and what we do.
We are the golfing arm of the P.S.S.A. and with their help, organise events throughout the country for both good golfers and not so good.
We annually organise two national handicap events in the spring and autumn, a national scratch event to establish our national champion, and two home international matches against Scotland and Ireland. Players in these teams qualify through the national championship.
We also provide funding to our regional representatives who do a sterling job organising events in the midlands and north east. Unfortunately we do not currently have anyone looking after golfers in South West, South East or North West. If there is anyone out there interested in organising events for these regions we would be delighted to hear from you.
Please contact either Dave Hudspith, Mick MacShane, Steve Kay or Tracie Mapletoft for more information.
