PSSA's Martial Arts comprises of three sections covering Aikido, Judo and Karate.

Aikido is a Japanese martial art, which is one of the most effective forms of self-defence taught today. There is no competition or confrontation, thus making it suitable for all ages and both sexes. It is a versatile martial art which allows it to be learnt as a self-defence system, a means of gaining self-confidence or simply, as a way of keeping fit.
For more information contact Mick Corten ~ 2nd Dan Black Belt at HMP Shrewsbury.

PSA have had Judo representatives successfully competing in the last two World Police & Fire games in Quebec and Adelaide.

There is currently no Karate committee, so if you would like to get involved or know more about Martial Arts, please click on the Contacts link above.
